Creator Rate Card Calculator
A rate you type, times quantity, plus usage, rush, and expenses. A separate USD starting range is labelled as a guess, not a quote.
Build a card from a rate you choose. The range underneath is a separate USD starting guess from followers and a content type. It is not the quote, and it is not what a brand will pay.
Your quote
Type a rate, a quantity, and costs that are zero or above. A blank rate is not a free quote.
Starting range, in USD
A rough amount per 1,000 followers for this platform and service, nudged by how the engagement you type compares with a typical rate for that platform. Low is 70% of the middle. High is 130%. The adjustment is held between 0.6 and 1.8 so one strong month does not multiply the range without limit.
- Low
- USD 560.00
- Middle
- USD 800.00
- High
- USD 1,040.00
(25000 ÷ 1,000) × USD 20 × 1.6
USD 20 per 1,000 followers for Instagram short or reel. Typical engagement used for the nudge is 1.5%. Your rate ÷ that typical is the adjustment. Usage rights, exclusivity, and production time are not in this range.
Worked example
An Instagram short, priced per project. Type 800 USD, quantity 1, usage rights 200, and the total is 1,000 USD. Separately, 25,000 followers at 2.4% engagement suggests a USD middle of 800 for that short: (25,000 ÷ 1,000) × 20 × 1.6. Low is 560 and high is 1,040. That range is not the quote.
FAQ
- Is this what a brand will pay?
- No. The quote is the rate, quantity, and optional costs you type. The follower range is a rough USD starting guess, and it leaves out exclusivity and production time.
- What does the engagement adjustment do?
- It divides the engagement you type by a rough typical rate for that platform, then holds the result between 0.6 and 1.8. Instagram’s typical on this page is 1.5%.
- Does it convert currencies?
- No. The starting range is always US dollars. Your quote uses the currency you pick, and the two are not converted. Using the middle as your rate also switches the quote to USD.
