CPS Test
Clicks per second over a five-second burst, timed from the clock, not a stepped animation.
Five seconds from the first click. The clock is wall time, not a stepped animation. This counts pointer clicks on the pad, not a keyboard auto-repeat.

Worked example
The test lasts five seconds of wall-clock time from the first click. Land 30 clicks in that window and that's 6.0 clicks a second.
FAQ
- When does the clock start?
- On the first click. That click counts, and the next five seconds count every further click on the pad.
- Is this the same as reaction time?
- No. Reaction time is one response to a signal. This is how many pointer clicks you can make in five seconds.
- Can I use a keyboard?
- The pad counts pointer clicks, not key auto-repeat.
