Are numbers kept as numbers?
Yes. Unquoted integers and decimals become JSON numbers. Quoted values stay strings.
What happens to yes and no?
They stay strings. Only the words true, false, null, and ~ have special meaning here.
Can I convert a Kubernetes manifest?
Simple manifests often work. Files that use anchors or multi-line | blocks will stop at the first unsupported line.
