FAQ
- What is a rem?
- A rem is the root font size, usually the font-size on the html element. The default in most browsers is 16 pixels.
- Should I change the root?
- Only if your stylesheet sets a different root font size. The converter divides pixels by the root you enter.
- Is this the same as em?
- No. rem is always relative to the root. em is relative to the font size of the parent element.
