Worked example
Search 46, Direct 22, Referral 16, Email 10, and Social 6 make a pie of those parts. Switch to a donut if you want the centre clear for a total.
FAQ
- Do the values have to add up to 100?
- No. Each slice is its share of the total of the values you enter.
- What happens to a negative?
- It can’t be a slice. It’s left out of the pie and called out above the chart, so it isn’t silently zeroed.
- How many slices stay readable?
- About seven. More than that, and you’ll see a note suggesting a bar chart or grouping the small ones.
